      In 2021, I decided to take a risk on something I've always wanted to do and move to South Korea for a year where I was an ESL teacher at Manseon Elementary School and Samri Elementary School. I was hired to be the head of the English department, creating a WBS to plan and allocate resources for a 1-year English curriculum, including extra-curricular activities, for 100 students between 1st - 6th grade that encouraged critical thinking utilizing project-based learning. I also led weekly brainstorming meetings with homeroom teachers to communicate issues and recommendations on classroom management plans to increase student focus and motivation, identify student needs, and achieve all lesson objectives.       The Korean American Community Services - Silicon Valley (KACS) mission is to improve the quality of life for all Korean-Americans in Santa Clara County, with a focus on those who are vulnerable including seniors and low-income individuals.
