Keep and maintain accurate records of the process and lab results to ensure sample protocol and regulatory requirements. * Provide training to new operators, develop, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assist with writing monthly reports to the City of Sandy, DEQ, and DOH.* Makes operational decisions including pumping rates and dosage adjustments. * Operates & monitors pumps, bar screens, sludge pumps, grit removal systems, blowers, aerators, clarifiers, tertiaries, control panels, disinfection systems, and belt press at the WWTP.* Maintain work orders & preventive maintenance schedules, receive chemical orders, troubleshoot & diagnose equipment malfunctions, and perform routine maintenance tasks and calibrations.
