While Chrys and I worked in different departments at UAT, it was plain to see her commitment and the care with which she handled the students. Not a week went by where I didn't hear a story from one of my students about the great thing Chrys had done for them, or the opportunity she had directed them to, or the problem she had helped them solve. Chrys really was like a surrogate mom, best friend, role model, advocate, and protector for these kids. She's truly an awesome person and her influence on the students at UAT is sorely missed.
