It was a pleasure working with Chris. Chris brought a wealth of experience, determination and knowledge to the connected devices platform team that was unmatched. In terms of problem solving, communication and getting things done Chris was an asset to the team. I would not hesitate work with him in the future.

O D.

I don't often come across exceptional colleagues within an agile environment, who stand out like Chris. I had the pleasure of working with Chris at Discovery, collaborating on several projects. Chris ability to implelement last minute requests from stake holders features & fixes was unlike any I’ve seen before. As a QA, it was an effortless task reviewing his code for release. Chris earns my highest recommendation.

Initially brought in for 6 months, I am leading a team of 4 developers across two streams of work. The team is maintaining the existing TAL (TV Application Layer) dPlay TV application across seven international markets for Samsung, LG & Android TV’s. Whilst simultaneously building a replacement application using the React framework. As well as moving the framework to a more universal pattern we have added unit tests using Jest and Enzyme and e2e testing using Cypress.

After graduating from University I started creating bespoke HTML emails for clients of Pure360. In August 2010 I gained promotion to User Interface Developer at Pure360. My role was to develop and support the User Interface for their email marketing system (this did not include the company website). I was involved in developing re-usable, cross platform and cross browser compatible code always considering future-proofing and highlighting the effects of certain coding practices. This required being aware of UI best practice, Modern UI techniques and methodologies. The majority of my work was created using the jQuery JavaScript framework, hand coded XHTML and CSS. I assisted the Lead UI developer liaising with the relevant people to obtain any information required to create Functional specifications, produce Prototypes and perform UI usability analysis. I was also required to perform unit testing on my own and the Lead UI developer’s code as well as assisting our software testing team. Show less

Between my 3rd and 4th years at university and for a temporary period once I had finished university I was employed by a local advertising agency as an office junior. I was given lots of web development based work, and when the full time web developer left for another position I was given full responsibility for updating and development of the company’s web site.
