  My introduction with IATA was done through IATA Financial Gateway (IFG) project in which I started as a liaison between JR Technologies and IATA’s IFG team. Following that period, I was proposed by IATA the role of the IFG’s Integration Coordinator, being responsible coordinating all integration processes for Airlines willing to adopt the IFG platform in their environment. Furthermore, I was the initial point of contact providing support to Airline’s developer teams or their 3rd party associates. Finally, my responsibilities included the design of workflows fabricated to the customer’s needs along with all integration related documents such us Scope Documents, BRDs, Project Plans etc. Although my involvement with IFG project was short, in six months I have managed to on-board twelve Airlines. Being part of its Product Department as a Product Owner I already had the chance to work with high profile clients like IATA, IAG & Lufthansa. As part of my product ownership role, I was responsible for communicating with the client during the full project life cycle gathering requirements, coordinating the various teams and organizing the releases/features/change requests in collaboration with the Project Manager. Additionally, I was responsible for writing project BRDs, designing workflows and mockups. Finally, I got involved in UAT testing of the product making sure that project meets all client’s requirements.
