Produced and presented a 2 hour weekly political talk radio show entitled Organic Rap Cyphers: The Art, Science and Politics of Hiphop. Focus is on spoken word art and conscious hiphop music and how these have the potential to influence public discourse and collective consciousness. One aim was to make politics palatable and attractive to a younger audience, by framing it within a cultural medium they could relate to. Interviewed politicians (current PM Jacinda Ardern then MP, Gareth Hughes MP), the 2015 NZ poet Laureate Vincent O'Sullivan as well many of NZ's seasoned spoken word artists .. the show had an international flavour with hiphop tracks from around the world in multiple languages Show less
