  - Installed new Proxmox Backup Server to write archives of Group data to tape – saving millions of dollars’ worth of data. - Replaced basement workstations with VMWare thin clients to provide centralized management and updates. - Performed a centralized inventory of Information Technology supplies for the Group. - Worked on a GlusterFS backup cluster where archive files will be stored before being written to tape. - Developed automation scripts in Python3 to simplify administration tasks – one alerted the Group of offline machines after a power outage, saving millions of dollars’ worth of data. - Developed a new Petalinux driver that performs operations in a parallel fashion, rather than serial – allowing for a motor to spin while statistics are being checked, for example – dramatically saving time and money. - Developed a faster and more optimized PCI driver as a Linux kernel module, which retrieves data from ring buffers at a faster rate, and with minimal overflows. - Developed a simulated PCI device using QEMU, allowing for rapid prototyping and testing.
