-Promoted to Corporal (E4; first rank of noncommissioned officer,) August 2007. -Completed two combat tours to Iraq (2006 -2008) with Second Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. During second tour (2008), I was a scout section leader. Responsibilities of this job included tactically leading and supervising eight Marines, and keeping serialized gear accounted for. During same tour I was also platoon communications representative. Responsibilities of COMREP included keeping all radios accounted for, and filling all crypto devices with the CYZ-10. -Maintained above average proficiency and conduct evaluations for the entire term of enlistment. -Awarded Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (2nd Award,) Iraq Campaign Medal and ribbon (w/1 bronze service star,) Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal. -Honorable Discharge, October 2011 after time served in Inactive Reserves. -Copies of awards, promotions, discharge papers, and DD214 separation papers available upon request.
