Embedded at the City of Cleveland's Department of Community Development and responsible for:• Marketing and promotion of the inventory of 10,000+ vacant lots in the City’s Land Bank through various channels and initiatives, including creation of user-friendly informational materials, simplified pricing policies, refreshing an existing website with links to the County Land Bank website, promoting the land bank via various social media and traditional media outlets.• Collaborating with the City’s GIS/MIS unit, NEOCANDO, Neighborhood Progress Inc., the County Land Bank, and various County offices on creating an integrated and reliable data management system for tracking the status of existing or potential land bank properties, especially in high priority development areas of the City. • Developing operational policies related to the cooperative agreements between the County Land Bank and the City Land Bank. Emphasis will be placed on procedures for managing the flow of foreclosed properties conveyed by the County Land Bank to the City Land Bank; resolving public lien issues; working together on methods for aligning acquisitions with priority development areas; and, streamlining nuisance abatement permitting processes.• Putting in place processes for verifying whether purchasers of Land Bank parcels have completed promised improvements with accompanying enforcement guidelines.
