I work as engineering support for the Rollon Corporation product. It is my job to support our customers, distributors, and sales team in design, sales, and troubleshooting for our product. We supply linear bearings and automation systems to our customers specializing in medium precision systems (200+ micron) that do not require the use of machined surfaces or high precision alignment.

  • Neff Engineering

    • Technical Sales Intern
      • May 2015 - Aug 2015

At Neff I worked as one of the first interns that they have had. What I learned from Neff is the basics of automation in manufacturing, and the sales process. I was involved in assisting engineers with proof of concept for customers, assisted in systems construction, and I experienced the sales process by traveling to customer locations. Overall this was a great experience that was a good introduction to both manufacturing automation, and the technical sales business. At Neff I worked as one of the first interns that they have had. I worked at Foamex as a processing engineer. Specifically I was working to improve the process of one of the plant's thermal reticulators. During my time here I worked with operators, management, and engineering in order to come up with better processes in order to increase production. During my short time here I put a Quality Control system in place and used the data from it to increase yield on major product by at least 6%. I worked at Foamex as a processing engineer. • Engineering Co-Op
      • Jan 2014 - May 2014

Working as a Co-Op at Therma-Tru Corp. was a lot like working at a first time engineering job. I was mostly treated just like a newly hired engineer would be. I worked with the retail business unit of the company at an R&D facility mostly supporting our manufacturing and process engineers at the plant. I was involved in multiple projects such as a major packaging change, a multi-million dollar cost savings initiative, and statistical analysis of the company's product.
