- Collaborated with two Industrial Engineers to develop solutions to manufacturing and environmental problems - Designed three projects using Autodesk Inventor: ~ Initiated a conceptual 3D digital model of a plastic pellet filtration system that ensured the company stormwater released less plastic materials into the environment and surrounding ecosystem ~ Produced a 3D rendering to install encoders on machines that aren’t able to calculate the rate of speed the machine is producing plastic film which ensures alignment throughout the extrusion process. ~ Created 3D rendering and oversaw contractors construct a water retainment system that would pump water into wastewater lines once full which prevented the machine from causing a slip hazard - Provided a safer working environment by completing projects that increased worker safety such as eliminating slip hazards and designing solutions that upheld OSHA regulations - Initiated the filtration project that contributed to the company's overall initiatives of being more environmentally friendly and introducing sound environmental practices
