Applied web developer skills to group and individual projects during a 500-hour course. Projects included: ASSEMBLY COMPILER - Created a simulation of a 32-bit computer, using hardware description language, for a Nand to Tetris course project. At GA, built a compiler to translate assembly into machine code to run on the simulated computer from Nand to Tetris. POKE_API - Created an API for Pokemon Cards using MongoDB, Mongoose, Express, Node.js, and deployed using Heroku/MongoAtlas. Gave the API full CRUD functionality. POKEDEX - Took my PokeAPI and created a front end for it with a partner. Created most of the structure using React, while my teammate developed most of the styling. Chose to use REACT, a component based front end, to allow for more programmatic logic than using plain HTML and CSS. HANGMAN - Project objective was to build and la simple game. Created a hangman game using HTML, CSS, and JS. Added a win and lose state animation. Used JS dom manipulation to simulate a flip book animation by hiding and revealing text boxes that contained ASCII art. Show less
