I led a team of over 50 staff members and managed claim department activities. That consists of providing comprehensive oversight for a wide range of functions including claims review, policy language interpretation, quality assurance, compliance and coordinating activities for all CAT responses, vendor programs and claims in litigation. I’ve played a pivotal role in the overall expansion of the claims department, growing it from just 20 employees to 140 employees over 13 years. A few of my other achievements during my tenure are highlighted below. ★ Spearheaded the development and implementation of streamlined, highly effective homeowner field adjusting model, resulting in a substantial improvement in field claims processing times and overall customer satisfaction. ★ Successfully managed the CAT planning and response of multiple catastrophic events with a high volume of claims, including Hurricanes Irma (2017) and Michael (2018). ★ Instrumental in assisting the Florida operation in the successful delivery of the highest Net Promoter Score (NPS) for Homeowner and Automobile claim results within Auto Club Group footprint.
