  MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES • DISTRICT LEADERSHIP / VERSATILITY: Routinely manage multiple stores when necessary to meet needs of district; assist in openings of new stores and remodeled units • FINANCIAL: Maintain store operations within budget; responsible for all daily and weekly receipts, inventory, deposits, shortages and overages; analyze sales numbers • INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: Serve as lead Inventory Manager for 21 stores in district, monitoring inventory crews, checking performance, recounting sections and signing off at end of inventory process • MERCHANDISING: Skilled in driving sales through strong merchandising and promotions; take pride and ownership in attractive store displays • CUSTOMER SERVICE: Exceptional focus on customer satisfaction; provide personal touch with all customers • SUPERVISION: Ability to manage a team of up to 200 employees; in charge of hiring, training, mentoring, scheduling, payroll, and terminations • HUMAN RESOURCES: Maintain employee records for annual HR audits; conduct performance evaluations and one-on-one annual reviews for all employees • TRAINING: Responsible for training all new associates; delegate some training tasks to other qualified employees • SAFETY: Provide safe and clean environment for customers and employees; ensure compliance with Department of Agriculture audits and all other state and federal regulations • SECURITY / LOSS PREVENTION: Provide security of merchandise by rigorously implementing security procedures and monitoring for shrinkage control; facilitate annual loss prevention audit • COMPUTERS: Proficient in business-specific software systems; quick to learn new technology and systems Show less
