  Regularly inspect HG&E facility(s) to identify safety, health, and environmental risks and draft inspection reports to document inspection findings. Develop action plans to correct deficiencies and hazards related to tools, supplies, equipment and building, prepare and distribute detailed reports of findings, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented. Plan, develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal rules and regulations (including Occupational Safety and Health Administration/OSHA) and ensure organizational compliance with these policies and regulations. Manage regulatory agency (i.e. OSHA, fire department) site visits and inspections and ensure appropriate reporting is made. Ensure work related activities are conducted in a safe, clean and orderly working environment and ensure job site compliance, including communication to subcontractors, addressing job site issues and documentation of any incidents. Make and implement recommendations to improve processes and procedures, monitor safety programs. Identify and conduct training in order to develop and implement safety awareness initiatives that improve safety performance and meet regulatory requirements. Manage and lead internal audits on-site, as well as organizing and supporting 3rd party audits with facilities across HG&E. Provide timely EHS reports and statistics to management. Promote a culture of safety and raising safety awareness Maintain expert knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and, consensus standards, and compile periodic reports as required by regulatory organizations.
