Chris was my manager for a short time, but he made a significant impact on me and my career path despite the abbreviated time period. Encouraging, empathetic, sincere, and collaborative -- He is the embodiment of what every person NEEDS in their direct reporting manager. I was making a big change in my career path earlier this year; a decisive switch in lanes that would not have been conceivable without him being present on the other side of the transition. Through onboarding and my go live he was supportive and attentive to my growth without micromanaging. Even the way he communicated about leaving his role/our company was so thoroughly genuine, transparent, and productive. I would follow him into the dark fearlessly as long as he is at the helm! He made a name for himself on results and productivity, so I don’t feel the need to reiterate the obvious success in leading teams, but what I think should not be overlooked or understated is Chris’s ability to truly care about his team and colleagues.
