On a day to day basis I am responsible for the planning and shipping of a high volume of refrigerated loads eastbound from Ireland to the UK. Not only specialising in the collection and delivery of high value perishable goods, I also have the privelage of dealing with a large demanding customer base - Dunbia, Moy Park and Monaghan Mushrooms but to name a few. Not only dealing with customers, I am also involved in driver management, assuring the correct vehicle is chosen for any specific load - given strict legislation regarding driver working time directive etc. Working on the eastbound refrigerated traffic desk is a very fast paced environment and my commitment to providing profitable business solutions for DFDS is second to none

Chilled and Frozen distribution of food product throughout the UK and Ireland. I spent 9 months working in this fast paced transport environment. My motivation and dedication to the job at hand ensured time sensitive valuable goods were delivered to a large but demanding customer base. Hannon International Transport was my first driving job. My three years spent here gave me a valuable insight as to how the transport industry worked. Through this experience I also thrived in developing numerous skills such as time management, customer service, organisational skills and also expert knowledge of road infrastructure in Ireland, the UK, and Continental Europe. My first job was at Dunnes Stores Omagh where I spent five years. My daily duties involved customer service on a busy supermarket shop floor. It was this job where I first got a foothold of many of the numerous skills in which I would later build upon with future employers. My first job was at Dunnes Stores Omagh where I spent five years.
