  In this internship I focused on reporting daily national and global news. I developed relationships with PR teams for US Senators, Representatives, and major political bodies (like Planned Parenthood). The Whim emphasized accuracy and objectivity, and research involved sifting through primary documents as they were released, and digging up older, relevant primary sources. After all of that, I condensed the information and presented it in an engaging and readable format, working closely with the Senior Editorial Team and the Editor-in-Chief.
