  Teaching Situation I am currently teaching 9th-12th grade students in the following classes: Intro to Engineering, Architecture, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, 3D Animation and Yearbook. The engineering program is configured into four years of classes, each building on the previous year of skill sets. The animation and yearbook classes are part of the business department and considered as part of the Arts, Media and Entertainment pathway. This is my tenth year teaching at PHS. I currently have 33 years of experience in these industry sectors. Description of Goal My goals/mission statement can be presented in two distinct areas of concentration. 1. Maintain and foster student excellence and achievement through involvement within the SkillsUSA organization. Continue to support student recognition and promote awareness of these achievements. 2. Develop and strengthen areas of instruction needed for each subject matter. This can be accomplished through industry professional development opportunities and continued research of supplemental content. (technology, software, texts, etc.) Show less
