I joined Data Interchange as a junior developer in March 2015. My role was preceded by an extensive period of training which covered C#, SQL, EDI and network protocols. Data Interchange is a leading provider of EDI and eBusiness solutions with offices in a number of locations around the world. My role involves working with a small but expanding group of developers in an agile environment using C#, .NET and MSSQL technologies. Since joining, one of my chief responsibilities has primarily been making reactive changes to existing products such as Darwin, the company's order processing solution. I eventually moved on to support the company's in-house accounting package and added new features and performance improvements as requested by the admin department. Show less

I Joined as a junior Software Developer during an early period of expansion at the company. Using VBA and XML, I developed bespoke templates and tools based around Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint from client or design agency specifications. At the same time I also maintained a suite of legal software developed by the company. I was responsible for writing documentation and user guides as well as providing support to clients and other members of the development team.I designed several programs (a date picker built in Excel for example) that became packaged in all software deployed by the company.
