      I work as an Extension Specialist in Communities and Economic Development focusing on healthy community design, walkability, bikeability and Safe Routes to School development. My work specializes in the use of collaborative community mapping using mobile and online geospatial technology tools, crowd sourcing and facilitated Volunteered Geographic Information. I teach GIS workshops and for-credit courses in Landscape Architecture and Community and Regional Planning that involve GIS, landscape modeling and data visualization.
