PeRK Advisory, an Asia based and focussed strategic investment advisor. PeRK Advisory has three business lines; strategic advice for asset management businesses, one-on- one coaching for investment professionals, and process reviews and development for both investment and sales functions. Leveraging Peter Ryan-Kane's 30 years as a trader, investor, borrower and consultant and my sell-side and buy-side investment experience, we bring unbiased, cutting edge and out of the box solutions to the complex world of investment for both asset managers and owners. PeRK Advisory has collaboration partnerships with a Management Consultancy, a middle and back office advisor and a number of experienced market practitioners that broaden bandwidth, domain knowledge and expertise - these are deployed on client assignments as needed. At Willis Towers Watson, Peter was Head of Portfolio Advisory for the Asia-Pacific region. He was responsible for driving investment solutions for clients in Asia, based in Hong Kong. He sat on the firm’s Global Investment Committee and chaired the Asia Portfolio Construction Group. At Credit Suisse, Peter was Head of Product, Distribution and Marketing for Asset Management in Asia Pacific, while at INVESCO he was Global CIO, with responsibility for a global team managing US$860 billion across a mix of strategies and geographies. Prior to that he established the Fixed Income business at County Natwest as the premier fixed income manager. My own background started in bond sales with Ord Minnett and Credit Suisse First Boston. At Macquarie Bank I managed institutional sales in the Australian market. At Baring Asset Management I ran the country office before moving to ING Investment Management in senior sales and marketing roles in Australia and Asia. I served as INGIM's Chief Representative in Beijing before relocating to Shanghai to join China Universal, a top ten China asset manager, to help build their offshore distribution capability.
