Working with ATU lecturers/assistant lecturers to supervise teaching labs for students, assisting students as required and supervising lab experiments to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. This included teaching course material and experiment principles to students before and throughout the lab sessions to develop the students' independence and critical thinking skills, and to ensure learning outcomes were achieved.

Responsible for independently working with vectors and transformed cell lines to verify successful sub-cloning of multiple DNA fragments into target plasmids via Gibson assembly, and to verify successful transformation of genes/promoters of interest into E. coli cells, utilizing a multitude of molecular biology skills, including PCR, Colony/Gradient PCR, AGE/Restriction Digestion analysis, cell culturing, DNA extraction and purification. Course Marshal - Hell & Back Marathon - Temple House

Responsible for monitoring health and safety of marathon participants on a 2km length of the track and calling HQ for an ambulance in the event of a serious injury. Promoted the organisation in a professional manner in all dealings with the public and thousands of participants. Participated in Alive Outside’s “Leave No Trace” CSR Policy, working in teams to clean the grounds after the marathon.
