      Patrol the interior and exterior areas of a facility. Escort visitors and staff. Perform crowd control; enforce no smoking policy. Respond to infant abduction alarm system; report such incidents to administration and contact law enforcement if necessary. Monitor facility maintenance system; ensure maintenance support staff is aware of alarm situations; may contact vendors to correct malfunctions. Maintain records and reports; log security event information and write reports manually or by utilizing an automated report writing application. Assist medical staff with restraining patients, and transporting behavioral health or deceased patients.May work at an information desk to cover breaks, lunches, weekends and holidays.
