Team Member of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2017. Worked on the High-level Track and Reports of WSIS Forum 2017. • Helped prepare the agenda of the UN-sponsored World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) • Assisted in communicating and coordinating with WSIS Stakeholders with reference to matters related to the WSIS Forum • Communicated and arranged meetings with the High Level Track Facilitators to the WSIS Forum I have been in charge of preparing the fourteen facilitators to the High-level Track part of the 2017 WSIS Forum, and of debriefing them regarding their roles and responsibilities. To that effect, I have helped organize meetings involving all fourteen facilitators, allowing them to exchange ideas and have their questions clarified. I have also updated the ITU website to reflect the participation of the High-level Track Facilitators at the WSIS Forum - including their names, pictures, organizations, and short biographies. Other tasks that I have accomplished included helping to shortlist the finalists for the WSIS Forum Photo Contest, assisting in setting up the events during the WSIS Forum, and responding to the concerns of some of the attendants. My latest task has been that of drawing up a set of policy proposals addressing ways to reach out to a greater number of organizations in preparation for the 2018 WSIS Forum.

My responsibilities included collecting data and tracking relation between terrorist incidents and resource distribution, using artificial neural networks (ANNs) and other data mining tools. I have also assisted in researching, writing, and translating articles relating to unsupervised ANNs. I have helped research and edit the article "What kind of ‘world order’? An artificial neural networks approach to intensive data mining" - which applied innovative data processing architecture to examine current patterns of international relations. I have co-wrote a follow-up to the above article "A Data Mining Analysis on the New Global Order", which will be published in September. I have also edited and translated other articles written at the Semeion Research Center, including "The ANNs Approach to DEM Reconstruction."
