      Gilbane is providing construction management at-risk services for a new medical center for Kaiser’s Permanente’s 48,000 SF freestanding medical office building & Pre-Cast parking garage. Currently, Chris is responsible for the Document Management, Project Management, Engineering, Budget, Billing, Quality Control, Subcontractor Management, Monthly Deliverables and more. Chris bridges the gap between the office and field on the jobsite relaying information directly to the project’s superintendents; As well as provides the additional support to the superintendents as needed for sequencing, inspections, and quality control.BIM Coordinator – Chris managed the BIM Coordination process for Gilbane to work through MEP Coordination modeling which resulted in a successful sign off for the project and have yet to require field modifications. Quality Control Manager – Currently applying expertise in the various construction disciplines to complement the project team in ensuring the construction quality is per specification and Kaiser’s standards. Currently performing daily QC reports and management of the owner’s independent testing services company onsite. Directly reporting to the Kaiser Permanente QC Director for all onsite Definable Features of Work.

      The Universities of Shady Grove Biomedical Sciences and Engineering (BSE) Education Facility - Rockville, Maryland | July 2016 - January 2021Role: Project EngineerChris provided construction management at-risk services for the new $140 million, six-story, 235,000 SF state-of-the-art facility. The BSE prepares students for careers in health, healthcare delivery, biosciences, engineering, and computational sciences. During the construction of the BSE, Chris displayed great organization and focus as he lead Gilbane's efforts through the design and development alongside the Owner and Architects and resulted in a successful bid. His tireless efforts to communicate with bidders and coordinate multiple updates and revisions to this package from the owner was commendable. Chris lead the LEED efforts for Gilbane throughout the project which received the highest certification, LEED Platinum.
