C&I Engineer leading design team of 8-10 engineers and designers across various Conceptual Design, FEED and Detailed Engineering Design Projects for GSK Montrose including new build construction, site modifications and tie-in scopes of work. Main Responsibilities are: • Accountability for execution of all C&I engineering deliverables on the project from the design phase, procurement, through to installation and site support. • Determination of Scope / Basis of Design, C&I Planning and prioritising work to ensure project requirements are met in terms of scope, time and cost. • Responsibility for specification and preparation of all field instrument data sheets and technical specifications including control valves, preparation of all cable block diagrams, System Architectures, termination drawings, hook-ups and loop diagrams using Smartplant Instrumentation or AutoCAD. • Control philosophy / functional design specification development, C&E, IO Lists, Instrument lists • Participation in internal & external P&ID reviews and development, HAZOP studies and model reviews, interaction with end users and interfacing with all project disciplines. • Produce MTO’s and support procurement to place orders. Manage package documentation from control valve, field instrument, hook-up material, junction box and various other vendors. • Input into Vacuum Pump, skid package and vessel manufacturer’s documentation. • Ensure vendor documentation is in accordance with specification requirements and carry out FAT inspections on these packages and skid package suppliers. • Provide guidance and supervision of the 3D modeling team with regards cabling containment systems and location of C&I equipment.
