Bio
Stephen Henninger, M.S.
I worked with, and supervised, Christopher when I first got to the University of Utah. In my time, it was clear Chris was deeply committed to supporting students and colleagues in anyway he could. Chris managed and worked with some of our most complex partners and all spoke to Chris's attention to detail, care about his work, and care for our students. Chris is an excellent colleague who is a team player and student centered. Importantly, Chris serves a needed role in times of change - a voice of caution. He was never against a change but always sought to understand why the change was needed, what would the benefit be to our staff and students, and was this the time for the change. This role, particularly in higher education, can often be ignored. Chris will ensure your team slows down, considers all.optjons, and make the best decision with his careful consideration.

Christopher is an amazing teammate who always brings a positive attitude, a wealth of knowledge, and incredible problem-solving skills to any situation. I’ve worked with Christopher since 2019 and have learned so much about what it means to be a professional in Student Affairs. As the senior assignments coordinator, Christopher is responsible for building and maintaining strategic and mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders for our department on campus. His ability to thrive under pressure and think analytically make him a great resource to have on any team.
