Airframe Engineer

Sep 2006 - Dec 2013
I joined Marshall Aerospace in September 2006, completing my apprenticeship in airframe fitting. During this time I worked heavy maintenance checks, short turnaround and AOG support working away from base. I gained valuable experience and skills in all aircraft areas, particularly structures, power plant, flying control systems (breakdown, rebuild and rigging), hydraulic systems and pressurisation/environmental control systems. I have worked in both the military and business areas of aviation, working on a variety of aircraft ranging from C130 to Cessna citations and single engine aircraft. I am currently up-to-date with various qualifications such as manual handling, EWIS, Human Factors, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, and working from heights. I also worked closely with training new apprentices. Show less
