Secondment to work for Shell from Jacobs, in their third party licensing business. I was responsible for leading a team of engineers to execute the Process Design Package (PDP) and Basic Engineering Package (BEP) for the third party licencing of the Shell Ethylene Oxide (EO) and Ethylene Glycol (EG) Technology. This involved managing a team of between 12 and 25 engineers spread across 4 different offices in 2 different countries, the Netherlands and India. I monitored the project schedule, ensured that schedule, budget and quality were met for a number of projects. I provided technical leadership to the team and mentoring to the junior engineers. I provide continuous improvements to the processes and tools that the team used to produce the engineering deliverable's for the packages. Show less

Tie ins included HP and LP steam systems, towns water, demineralised water and ethanol transfer system for export offsite via the jetty. Role included participating in a HAZOP to check the design of the ethanol transfer system.
