Bio
Josiah Berkebile
I worked with Chris in the same sub-team at Cerner on a Ruby on Rails project that connected to a big data solution on the back-end. As a Rails developer, Chris was not only one of the most knowledgeable people on the sub-team, but on the entire project. Because of his reputation, he was frequently added to code reviews as an expert opinion either on areas of the system he had worked on or due to his ability to find simple solutions to complex problems. Having participated in the same code reviews as Chris for the past 6 months, I can tell you first hand that Chris has been one of the team's key contributors in terms of posting useful comments that exposed potential bugs, unnecessary obfuscations and readability concerns, and improved design suggestions to better promote future maintainability of the code base. At a high-level architecture level, Chris actively participated and contributed to code design and and has been able to draw on his past experiences to prevent our team from making the same mistakes he had seen made by other teams in the past. Chris would make a great addition to any development team.
