Bio
Connie Lechleitner, ABC, APR
Chris and I worked together on many projects to communicate sometimes complicated tax issues to Rea & Associates' clients and prospects through our print and email newsletters, blog posts, letters and other communication channels. There's no one I'd rather go to with questions about federal tax regulations and their impact on businesses. He is very bright and extremely knowledgeable and yet able to explain complex concepts into understandable terms. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Chris!

As the chief recruiter and chair of the Recruitment Committee at Rea & Associates (1999-2008), I participated in Chris Axene's hire, and believe it was one of the better hiring decisions that the firm made while I was there. Chris quickly become the go-to tax expert and resource firm-wide regarding tax issues. He also quickly built a reputation as someone who presented well to clients and in prospective client meetings. In a leadership development program known as Rea Next Gen (I served as a facilitator), I observed ChrIs regularly state opinions that others thought yet would not say. Chris tactfully offered observations about the firm's direction with senior leadership that gained the respect of both peers and senior leadership. Final point. We did some ramping up of staff in the Tax Department at one point, and Chris provided carefully-thought-out opinions about the hires, and good mentoring and leadership to the newer staff members.
