I oversee instructor assignments and course schedules for programs within my area of responsibility, I work proactively with University Advising to develop and oversee Faculty Advising and training program, and I serve as chair for the undergraduate task group responsible for the initial development of new academic programs. I addition, I serve on the Retention Management Task Group as part of Life University’s partnership with the Gardner Institute to improve undergraduate student retention as well as several university committees including undergraduate admissions, curriculum, diversity, academic affairs, and the research advisory council.   I was responsible for the management and direction of all academic operations for a private technical college in the Central Georgia region. I managed a staff of 3 full-time program directors, an assistant director of education, 2 instructional leads, 2 additional full-time instructors, and over 20 part-time instructors as well as the registrar and student resources coordinator. In addition, I oversaw the building of the course schedule and was responsible for assigning instructors to all classes. Part of this responsibility also included implementing our new hybrid and flextrack delivery modalities and ensuring that all faculty were trained and ready to teach in this new format. In addition to preparing faculty for new delivery modalities, I was responsible for all campus-based faculty training and development programs including the building of individual developmental plans for all faculty as well as 4 in-service programs per year.
