Bosch Lawn & Garden Ltd is part of the Power Tools segment of BOSCH with 500 employees in Stowmarket/Ipswich. As an industrial placement student I support the robotic development department for robotic lawnmowers with data analysis, development software and software tests.Additionaly, I'm working on research and development projects on my own.

Product Engineering Placement

AFCO is a joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH and DENSO Japan producing fuel pumps for cars in the North American market. As part of the Product Engineering Department, I was supporting the implementation of a new chemical process in production, developing a new measurement method for high precession components in three different countries and improving a product line change over by approaching lean management.

Working Student & Apprenticeship as Mechatronic technician (dual system)

Ottobock HealthCare is the world leading company in prosthetics with over 6000 employees worldwide.Studying in a dual system with Ottobock in Duderstadt, included a german IHK apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician, a three and a half year working experiences in the production and development departments and a seven semester bachelor program in mechtronics at the Hochschule Hannover. As a part of my job, I was working on several projects:- Construction and programming of a test machine for ball bearing used in knee prostheses- Development of an augmented reality app- Building a new foot protheses prototype including inertial sensors (bachelor thesis).
