  In December 2000 my friend Sacha Leagh-Murray and I opened a little recruitment agency called Market Partners with a really simple insight that sales and marketing people should recruit for sales and marketing roles. With little experience, a lot of passion and the conviction that we had identified a real opportunity we opened our doors. Over the next 8 years we grew from 2 people to 12, moved offices, got flooded and then in June 2008 Market Partners merged with Sydney based agency Carrera to form Carrera Partners. The rest is history.

  Simplot is one of Australia's most respected food manufacturing and marketing organisations with brands such as Edgell, Leggos, Birdseye, John West and Lean Cuisine - just to name a few! Whilst at Simplot, I worked as Marketing Manager of the shelf stable division. I managed a team of 8 marketers who had the marketing and profit responsibility for brands such as Edgell, Leggos, Big Sister and Harvest. I loved my time at Simplot. I worked with extremely talented individuals, many whom are still there and I am fortunate enough to continue to work with Simplot, assisting with their recruitment process when necessary.



Kraft Foods Australia

  Who wouldn't love working at Kraft with iconic brands such as Vegemite, Peanut Butter and Toblerone! During my time at Kraft I worked on 2 key categories - Product Manager Meals and then Senior Product Manager Pourables and Viscous (for "non-Kraft" people this means salad dressings and mayonnaise). I was involved in a lot of new innovation, some of which is still around today - nearly 20 years later so that can't be bad! I had access to some of the most sophisticated marketing and leadership training. I can count many of the people I met at Kraft not only as friends, but as respected senior sales and marketing professionals who continue to hold influential roles nationally and internationally in their chosen fields.
