Christine (Chris) Wood and I worked together at Sharyland Utilities. Chris was the Manager of Billing and reported directly to me. Chris built a world class Electric Utility Billing department at Sharyland from the ground up. Her business knowledge of Billing in the Utility space is second to none, which added respect for her from her billing employees. Chris is one of the most passionate people about doing the right thing for Sharyland and the Sharyland customers that I have seen in my 42 year career. I could always count on Chris to meet her deadlines and know that the work behind the deadline would be superb. One of the biggest accomplishments that Chris completed at Sharyland was the implementation of her Billing functionality for a new SAP CIS implementation. She built a relationship with the SAP CIS vendor where the vendor knew all things billing on the project go through her, that assisted the vendor in a one stop shop to make decision that helped to meet the timeline I placed on the project.. The new billing portion of the implementation was as smooth as I have seen in 6 CIS implementations in my career and, Chris's passion for what she does along with the skills she has developed were a direct reason for this great success. I would welcome Chris to be apart of my team in the future. I know that Chris will bring passion, compassion, organization, loyalty and a wealth of managerial skills to the table.
