Christine Skudlarek is the definition of professional. I have worked with Christine in two different fields and have witnessed her assimilate herself into jobs and projects quickly becoming an expert. With this expertise she then effortless became mentor sharing what she knows and what the task at hand is with all those that she worked with. She time and again showed the ability to recognize areas of opportunities within an organization and maximize the talent around herself to act as a team on these opportunities. Christine's leadership is second to none, and although I haven't had the privilege to work with Christine for many years, I often am in situations where I reflect on her leadership and weigh that into my decision.

I have known Christine since 2004. We met professionally when I sold my company, Spec 7 Insulation, to Installed Building Products. In working with her after the sale of the business, I found her to be a constant professional who was fiscally responsible and followed solid business practices. Over the years, Christine and I have grown to become not only business associates but also good friends. She has come to know me and my family very closely as I have hers. We often have used each other as sounding boards as we both have embarked on new adventures and left the roles we formerly held at Installed Building Products. She is someone who's opinion I trust. Christine is one of the most business savvy people I have ever met. Her negotiating skills are second to none. She is, without a doubt, one of the most capable individuals I've ever met with a tremendous "can do" attitude. Vince Botsko Former Owner Spec 7 Insulation Co.

Concare is a leading provider of concrete protection, restoration, refinishing and polishing services and products for floors and walls in the commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, food, beverage, information, retail, distribution and recreational industries. Headquartered in Melrose Park, IL, the company helps to accomplish the goals of sanitation, safety and chemical protection. As the General Manager, I have taken ownership of the operational and financial aspects of the business as well as work with the owner on the sales strategies of our firm. We have been able to capitalize on our operational strengths to service our customers, large and small with the same attention to detail and quality that continues to exceed their expectations.

With 70 plus locations nationally , my responsibilities focused on evaluating performance concerns and providing solutions for sales strategies and system improvements. The goal was improved efficiency to drive sales success ultimately enhancing overall financial performance . This was a critical component to the company's ability to grow nationally during a housing market down turn.

I managed up to 12 branches in multiple states providing guidance and support for our core business of insulation installation in new home construction along with commercial applications. I worked closely to mentor the local management in all aspects of business including sales growth and strategy, financial analysis and operational excellence. I was accountable for over 50 million in sales and the bottom line net income contributions each branch achieved. My group continually saw double digit sales growth. In less than 12 months, we were able to take a newly acquired location from $0 profits to double digit Net Income.

As one of 5 partners, I was responsible for all aspects of the finance within our organization. I played a vital part of the operations. After implementing Timberline Construction Software, we were able to monitor job costs and improve our financial reporting. This gave me an opportunity to analyze our spending and improve financial performance company wide. In addition, detailed job costing gave us the ability to understand how to manage projects more efficiently and become better operationally as well as improve fiscally. I was involved in monitoring and leading the sales team in commercial sales opportunities. We were involved in projects including the new Cellular Field, Northwest Community Hospital (various), The W-Hotel, etc. As a partner, we each played a part in developing sales opportunities. Morton Floors grew to be a leader in the Chicagoland market, known for the quality and service we were able to provide.
