Teaching and developing the Foods and Fashion programs. Writing and implementing new courses each year to continue to enhance student interest. Incorporating up to date technology in the classroom through the use of Google classroom and training students on new cooking and baking equipment. In addition to teaching Foods & Fashion I have also taught in the Visual Arts and am a working artist myself. While teaching the Art, I facilitated students with producing art work for several local art shows and contests. I have also taught the Art I.B. program at the High School level. I have also been teaching Religious Studies 15, 25 and 35 program and activiely participate and support the students in participating in service projects within the community. Show less

Developed a successful and exciting Junior High Home Economics Program. Taught several other subjects as well including the Fine Arts, Science 7/8, Health & Religion. Facilitated an Art club through which students were able to gain extra skills in Art and were able to pursue their interests. Arranged for several Art exhibits and field trips pertaining to Art as well. Lead for the Art Department and ordered art supplies, oversaw budget pertaining to supplies both in the Home Economics area and Fine Arts areas. Served on the Religious Studies committee at school and was the Religion Representative for the school for five years. Worked with the St. Jean Baptiste Parish in Morinville in organizing liturgies and masses for the school community. Attended the Religion Representative meetings once a month and met with other professionals from other schools. Show less

I served as Religion Representative and met at Division Office monthly to discuss Division goals, liturgical seasons and events. Brought information back to the staff regarding Catholic Education liturgies and masses. Worked with the St. Jean Baptiste Parish to organize liturgies and school celebrations.Organized and facilitated Religion meetings with members of the Religion Department at school.Organized and facilitated student involvement in liturgies and masses.Participated in and organized the Change for Children Painting of Banners to raise money for Peace & Development.
