Christine was kind enough to allow me to present my half-day negotiation training session to her staff at the Virginia Garcia Memorial Foundation. What struck me during that six-hour session is the rapport she had with her employees and her colleagues. She was relatively new at her executive director position at that time, but she already had an unmistakable chemistry with her staff. That is the mark of a great leader. She is also obviously a quick-study because she had a more-than-conversant knowledge of just about every fact and figure associated with the foundation. But I think the thing that impresses me the most about Christine, is that she's very passionate about what she does -- and she is especially passionate about the cause she leads the charge in supporting.

Christine is a human catalyst focused on bettering the lives of others! Christine has an amazing ability to galvanize a team around a shared belief (i.e. improving health care & wellness for an under-served community), inspiring them to generate ideas around an insight, then challenging the team to take those concepts/ideas and distill them into a "doable" process and finally, she allows her team to use their collective energy and to manifest the idea(s) into reality. Christine leads with passion, purpose & intention!

Christine is one of the most thoughtful, caring and effective leaders I know. When we worked together on the I Give Where I Live campaign, she could always be depended upon to keep us focused, share her connections and keep us moving forward. At the same time, I gained an insider's appreciation for the amazing work being done by the Virginia Garcia Memorial Clinic and Foundation. She is a woman who lives her commitment to making our world a better place.
