  I was hired as the Pharmacy Manager after working for them as a locums pharmacist for some time. I was placed here via a temp staffing company, Apex Medical Placements. Myduties included all of those mentioned below, plus I was responsible for licensure andinventory for both the Outpatient Clinic and Ambulance Service. I was also a Consultant Pharmacist for our outpost clinics and the Cuba clinic on an as-needed basis, and was included in planning patient therapy. I was responsible for all pharmacy staffing and supervision, plus inventory orders and auditing. I participated in the P & T Committee on a yearly basis. I was responsible for billing state and private insurance companies for our services, and for audits by same companies. I initiated and completed all Prior Authorization Requests for nonformulary medications. I was responsible for licensure and auditing of ourAmbulance Service at the Clinic, and providing them with the necessary medications and narcotics for their practice. I participated in the anticoagulation clinic operations. I enjoyed this position tremendously!
