  The month that I worked at Danelle Els Attorneys provided me the opportunity to fully experience how the legal system operates, especially in Family Law. What I learned in my years of studying became a reality as I sat through an urgent application, Rule 43 application, an application for postponement, judgements etc. I was also able to see how to draft affidavits, sat through a few consultations, write opinion pieces to possible clients as well as to type letters to the opposing parties. This student vacation work left me with even more motivation and ambition to pursue my career in law. Show less

  This is a small but extremely popular restaurant in Stellenbosch. It is a rare sighting to see the restaurant empty and quiet. With only three waiters that work per shift, this experience taught me to work well under pressure, to think quick and always keep my pose when customers are difficult.
