Selected in the Teach Plus Fellowship as a National SEL Change Agent. As a teacher leader, I implemented a professional development book study at my school. Teachers studied Weston Kieschnick’s book “The Educator's ATLAS: Your Roadmap to Engagement” to develop and implement mathematic lessons that lead to student interaction in synchronous live online classes. Through increased student interaction (student-teacher, student-student, and student-content) during the classes. The project hypothesized student interaction would boost engagement, leading to academic growth as seen on Map tests.

Our labs combine physiological measurement in the Neurocognitive Science Lab (NCSL) and Assistive Technology Research Development (ATRD) in Virtual and Augmented Reality to evaluate cognition in various student populations.
