I advise a diverse population of students seeking associate, baccalaureate, and master's degree in developing degree completion plans that will add value to their learning experience and benefit their individual needs. I evaluate transfer credit and serve as Chair of the Graduate Nursing Waiver Review committee. I also collaborate with faculty and department leadership in developing and evaluating academic policies and admission standards and protocols. In addition to work with students, I have the opportunity to design and write the newsletter for the college's chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Show less

In this role, I was the primary advisor for all graduate nursing students, including those enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing program and two specialized certificate programs. I provided students with support and assistance in degree planning. I served on the Graduate Council, working with representatives from graduate programs across the college and creating, writing, and revising policies. I also facilitated the admissions process for all graduate nursing students.
