    • Feature Lead, Later Vice-President
      • Jun 2020 - Present

I am a feature lead and a part of the core team of the Art Shine Foundation for young artists. Currently, I serve as one of the co-vice presidents of this organization. I have managed to connect with teen artists from all over the world. I contact artists to have their art featured and conduct interviews with them about their art and their story. After that, I go on to write both blog and social media posts about them. Since being promoted to serve as the vice-president, I primarily work on partnerships and event planning. Show less

    • Student Intern
      • Sep 2021 - Jun 2022

As a student intern in the ACLU of Southern California, I mainly am responsible for helping ACLU's YLS (Youth Liberty Squad) grow and further develop. I have written potential scenarios for YLS members to navigate through in order to gain practice in the field of activism, and I create surveys about YLS for the members to fill out. • Summer Internship
      • Jun 2020 - Aug 2020

In this internship, I learned about the cycle of violence and learned how to support survivors of domestic violence. From there, my group and I worked on an advocacy project involving art and activism. I created a series of collages about the different aspects of my identity and how they intersect with different social justice movements. Lastly, I supported the people in my internship by giving them constructive criticism on their art, and I took the lead in presenting my collages at the end of the program. Show less
