Dr. Rick Lane

I had the pleasure of working with Chris in her role as the Chief Operating Officer at Prime Therapeutics. During in our time working together, she proved herself to be an adept manager and a superb leader for her entire team. Her adept management skills include the ability to take a strategic vision and convert that to key operational metrics for tactical execution. It is rare that one works with a manager and a leader, however, with Chris one gets the real deal. Her ability to convert strategic vision to operational tactics resulted in Prime earning one of the highest net promoter scores in the healthcare industry, the best peak call volume period, and the execution and delivery of all key Information Technology initiatives all while earning best in industry employee engagement scores. Simultaneously, Chris provided superb leadership to her team both in the way she leads and the care for people under her charge. As a leader, Chris is unparalleled and one of the best I have worked with in 38 years of working with leaders. Her quiet unassuming way of leading enables everyone on her team to have a voice with her steering quietly when needed to ensure we met all our objectives. She did this while also acting as a mentor for the University of Minnesota Masters in Healthcare program where she started a program to mentor these future leaders through internships at Prime. This benefitted countless students and will also have a long-term favorable impact on the industry. It was a sincere pleasure and honor to work with Chris. I wholeheartedly endorse her for any position she is seeking, she is going to be one of the best manager/leaders that you ever hire!

Chris is a thoughtful, seasoned and progressive leader. She is able to keep her eye on the big picture and trust her team to carry forth the details to assure success. Her understanding of current operations and the impact of the future with ACO will lead to continued success and leadership of Alllina in field and art of health and health care.

In dyad partnership with the chief clinical officer, developed and led the clinical service line (CSL) strategic governance model across the continuum of care delivering on the quadruple aim and growth. One example is the creation of the Mother Baby Centers, a strategic product offering of the mother baby CSL leading to double digit growth in the competitive Twin Cities market. Led the strategic integration of the Courage Center and Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute to create the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute (CKRI). CKRI has experienced growth, improvements in affordability and integration of the continuum of care for people with disabilities.
