My role is to deal with all admin for the events side of Chamber which includes, dealing with bookings over the phone or through post, keeping spreadsheets upto date, providing delegates with VAT invoice, producing badges and delegate lists for each event. I also have responsiblilty for credit control on any unpaid invoices which we keep to a minimum. I am now pleased to say that I have also achieved my certificate in Export which has now become part of my role in checking and approving Certificate of Origin for exporting which I must admit I am finding very interesting.

Whilst I was employed at Dudley TEC my primary role was that of PA through the years to Head of Finance, Head of Business Services & Deputy Chief Exeuctive. My role was always a duel role. With Finance it was that of Manager to Reception & Stationery, with Business Services I was also admin to Investors in People Team dealing with all reports etc. With the DCE I also managed reception and dealt with Employee Bursary Grants dealing with employers who trained and upgraded their workforce through NVQs etc. My last three years were spent with Marketing and Events which I was part of the admin team together with PA role to Head of Marketing & Events. I also represented the Business Link side of the organisation with the Young Enterprise Awards jointly run with Rotary.
