I conducted my thesis research in the Yue-Ming Li Lab at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Using a chemical biology approach we determined the target and studied the mechanism of action of several potential Alzheimer's drugs, including gamma-secretase modulators. I mastered numerous biochemistry and cellular & molecular biology techniques such as enzyme assay development, cell culture, HPLC, peptide synthesis, LC-MS, molecular cloning, recombinant protein expression and purification, western blot, and subcellular fractionation.
