  Development of theoretical methods for the description of nuclear bound states, collective excitations and their distributions starting from fundamental interactions, including the implementation into a highly-optimized code written in C. Active part in international collaborations with scientists or working groups at universities and research institutions in Germany, Canada, and the US. Teaching assistant: Coordination of up to five doctoral students for the preparation of exercises for various physics lectures, supervision of teaching assistants, tutoring of undergraduate and graduate students during the exercises.
