As a "Voyager" in Marriott's MIT program, I became proficient with the software system used by the company, PMS, and gained experience in the Rooms Operations department. The Rooms Operations department consisted of housekeeping supervision/management and all front of the house departments including front desk, the gift shop, complimentary breakfast for members and bell stand. I focused mainly on front desk operations where I spent most of my time with the company.
