  Taught ESL students in grades K-2. Services were provided in small group pull-out sessions as well as push-in support within the regular classroom. Administered the WIDA ACCESS for ELL test annually as well as other measures of progress on a periodic basis. Wrote reports and participated in parent and teacher meetings. In addition to my ESL responsibilities, I also served as our school's McKinney-Vento liaison. I worked on identifying students who were considered homeless under the McKinney-Vento definition. I entered information into the database. I assisted families by providing them information on community resources and by helping to remove barriers to education. Show less
